Ayr and Dalmellington Railway

The title Ayr and Dalmellington Railway was adopted on 4th August 1853 by the Ayrshire and Galloway Railway. The title was also used for a bill promoted by the same company to extend its lines in the Waterside area.

It was absorbed by the Glasgow and South Western Railway on 1st August 1858.
