Blackburn Railway

The Blackburn Railway was actually the Bolton, Blackburn, Clitheroe and West Yorkshire Railway by another title. The name officially changed in July 1851.
In December 1857 it was taken over jointly by the East Lancashire Railway and the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway.
