Church Fenton station
From Railways
Church Fenton is one of the most impressive stations for a small village in the UK. With 4 platforms and 5 running lines, it is served by Northern Rail trains from York to Leeds and the Calder Valley, Selby and Hull, and Sheffield.
Express trains by Virgin Cross Country, TransPennine Express and Northern Rail frequently roar through the station but despite the size of the station, trains only stop every 1-2 hours.
There is step-free access from the car park to platform 1 (for Selby and Sheffield. However, the ramps up to the footbridge from all platforms have steps on them at 2m intervals, so may not be suitable for wheelchairs. This article is a Stub. you can help UK Railways by expanding it.
