Selby station is a few minutes walk from the town centre. It is operated by First TransPennine Express, and also served by Northern Rail, Hull Trains and one train per day from GNER.
Platform 1, for all trains to Hull, has step-free access. Platforms 2, for trains to London, York and Manchester, and 3, for local trains to Leeds, are only available via a stepped footbridge, or using a barrow crossing, on which you must be accompanied by a member of staff.
The station has a ticket office open 7 days a week, a café, newsagent, toilets and a fully enclosed waiting room. These are not available when the ticket office is closed in the evenings.
