Stratford-upon-Avon, Towcester and Midland Junction Railway
From Railways
The Stratford-upon-Avon, Towcester and Midland Junction Railway was formed in August 1882. It was a rename of the Easton Neston Mineral and Towcester, Roade and Olney Junction Railway.
It opened for goods in April 1891 and passengers in December of the following year.
The passenger service was short lived and the company spent some time in receivership before being merged into the formation of the Stratford-upon-Avon and Midland Junction Railway in January 1909
