From Railways

Hello Bedders. I noticed this wiki has been inactive for quite a while now. It's a shame since I think the topic has real potential to become a successful Wikicity. In order to get it some more attention, I have added it to the Adopt a wiki scheme to encourage new users to revive the wiki. Feel free to remove the {{adoption}} tag from Wikicities:UK Railways and the Main Page if you feel the wiki is not inactive, or if you want to revive it yourself. [edit] New job = Bit more spare time

I've just started another new job and hopefully this one will give me some time to update the wiki. Hopefully I can advertise it a bit better in the coming weeks and get a few more visitor and contributors

Go for it, I'll try and continue to contribute, but I don't have the time to really drive it

Those are some excellent photos you've uploaded, sorry I haven't done much to the wiki but first my computer packs up then my internet onnection starts to play up (lets hope you get this first time). Thomas- TAS 18:26, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

I'm getting them off John Firth's website, I contacted him ages ago about putting them on here and he was very nice about it. Said they're not of the greatest quality, which they're not to be fair, but they are interesting. Bedders 11:57, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sync lists?

Would be much appreicated if you could sync the Non natilised companies. the Route Directory list and heratige line template.

Also might need to do East Lancs Railway (Preserved) vs the current entry in respect of the route directory..

I am going to be getting a lot of stuff from Wikipedia list soon, and need to concentrate on that.

There is a comprhensive list of Minor Railways published by the Branch Line Society but, I wasn't going to use that list as to do so would be a potential copy-vio..
